2018 PAC-8 Championships

Hosted by the PAC-8 Conference & Tahoe Sports & Entertainment

Feb 9-11, 2018

Tickets are $5.00 per game and tournament passes are available for $20 (25% discount). As always children under 12 are free. All games would be broadcasted in HD.

Format:
The tournament will feature top 6 teams in the conference, with seedings determined by final regular season rankings. The #1 & #2 seeded teams will have bye for the first round of the tournament.

Overtime format for all games (if necessary):
1. 10 minute 5 on 5 sudden death overtime period
2. if no goal is scored, there will be a 2 minute intermission on the ice
3. another 10 minute 5 on 5 sudden death overtime period
4. if no goal is scored, teams will leave the ice and there will be an ice make
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until a goal is score

Friday, Feb 9th:
Game 1 (100PM): #4 UCLA vs #5 USC: WATCH ONLINE
Game 2 (400PM): #3 WASHINGTON vs #6 OREGON WATCH ONLINE

Saturday, Feb 10th:
Game 3 (1000AM): 5TH PLACE GAME (loser game 1 vs loser game 2)
Game 4 (100PM): #5 USC vs #1 CALIFORNIA
Game 5 (400PM): #3 WASHINGTON vs #2 ASU

Sunday, Feb 11th:
Game 6 (10AM): 3RD PLACE GAME (#5 USC vs #3 WASHINGTON)
Game 7 (1PM): CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (#2 ASU vs #1 CALIFORNIA)

Accomodations:
Extending over 19 acres of scenic, mountainside woodlands, Aston Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort is a wonderful condominium property featuring hotel amenities and a tranquil lakefront setting in South Lake Tahoe. The Aston is the preferred guest hotel of the Lake Tahoe Icemen, the local WSHL Junior Hockey Team.

Facilities:
The 2018 PAC-8 Championships will be hosted by the Tahoe Sports & Entertainment at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena. This NHL sized rink is Tahoe’s only year round full sized sheet of ice. It’ family friendly, community oriented, and will provide a wonderful environment for PAC-8 Athletes and Families moving forward.

The South Tahoe Ice Arena is a full-service, state-of-the-art ice skating facility.
This now privately operated facility offers a regulation National Hockey League (NHL) size sheet of ice, locker rooms, a snack bar, a retail store, an arcade, and party rooms.
