USC opens 2018 season against CAL

September 14, 2018
Anaheim, CA

USC Ice Hockey takes on CAL this weekend at Anaheim Ice on Friday 9/14 at 8:30 PM and Saturday 9/15 at 7:30 PM.

This game is a revenge game of sorts for the Trojans since CAL knocked USC out of playoff contention in the semi final round last season during the PAC-8 playoffs in South Lake Tahoe.

USC is flush full of returners with veteran is their opponent, the Golden Bears.

The Trojans did lose a large portion of their scoring among graduated players from last season, however, they definitely have a new batch of talented freshman!

This home opening weekend will be one for the history books…and both games count towards the Trojans conference record, raising the stakes right off the line!

Head Coach Tyler Maxwell stated “We have a strong group and we have built chemistry during training camp. I am extremely excited to see what these gentleman can accomplish this upcoming season. We are going to take this one game at a time and trust the process. If there are two things we can control, it is our attitude and work ethic. One team, One Goal!”

Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for students w/ ID, youth and military/veterans, and free for children.
