The PAC 8 Hockey Conference has released its KRACH rankings for the month of November, the standings in which the Conference will decide which six teams will qualify for the PAC 8 Championships in Lake Tahoe, CA in February.
The monthly rankings saw #7 Arizona State take the top spot in the ranking with a 115.19 score after debuting at number two in the first poll a month ago. Right behind ASU is #3 Utah who held on to first place in the last ranking and now has a score of 101.89.
At number three is Oregon, who moved up a spot with a 90.71 score. At four is USC with a score of 56.27, falling one spot from the initial computer ranking.
Numbers five through eight remained unchanged from the first ranking, as UCLA (52.46) and Washington (38.26) round out the top six that qualify for the PAC 8 Championships when the season comes to an end.
On the outside looking in at the top six is Cal with a score of 31.78 and Washington State with a score of 11.27.
The KRACH rankings are a new system implemented by the PAC 8 Conference this season to determine the standings for the teams in the conference. The rankings will be released monthly with the final ranking being released just before the PAC 8 Championships.
First through sixth place at season’s end will advance to the PAC 8 Championship Tournament in Lake Tahoe, CA in February.
